Time to get involved!

Today's walkout was a huge success, with more than 400 students packing into the Main Mall and the upper level walkways surrounding the Mall. That was followed by even better news - about 9:00 tonight the faculty and board came to an agreement on a new three-year contract. Strike averted!

Welcome to our web site. We have a wide range of information on topics like the proposed budget for next year and more. We're looking to add a section on the upcoming ASG election as well.

Registration on the site is open to everyone. Just scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link to create a new account. Once you register, you'll have access to the forum. After you register, we will manually add a second set of permissions to your account once we verify you are not a spammer. These permissions will allow you to comment without moderation and post blog entries and events to the site.

We hope to utilize this site in the coming months to get information out to students, serve as a portal for information, and more. Currently there is not a "one stop shop" for these kinds of items, something we hope this site can remedy. This site will help to keep everyone up-to-date on all of these topics and more. I will do as much as I can, but I invite others to post on the site as well. I try to stay as informed as possible, but there is only so much a brain can hold.
